Welcome to Luther Memorial School’s Summer Program for 2010! This year marks our 15th anniversary of our Arts program and the 153rd anniversary of our school. We are very proud of our traditions, and at the same time, we strive each year to improve our agenda of camps. This year we will be offering classes for students in preschool through rising 10th grade. In our program, your child can explore such areas as
Stained Glass, Study Skills, Theater, Sports, and Puppetry.
Please read the program listings in this
online
brochure to find out more about our offerings. A
PDF copy of the brochure is available as well and can be found
here.
As always, know that our basic requirement is simply that every class offer an exciting “hands-on” learning experience taught by a teacher who not only loves working with children, but who also brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom.
All programs are held Monday through Friday. (There is no camp on Monday, July
5th) A snack is served each day, and a hot lunch is provided for students attending both our morning and afternoon programs.
For preschool through rising fifth grade students, we offer an excellent Extended Day program which offers activities before and after the regular camp time. These activities include arts and crafts, games, reading time, swimming and afternoon field trips. Extended Day
is billed on an hourly or weekly rate.
We hope your child will join us this summer at Luther Memorial Summer
Programs.
For all our programs, spaces fill quickly. Registration for Summer
Programs will begin on Saturday, February 6th at The Tuckahoe YMCA and
continue thereafter at Luther Memorial School.
